If you are over 18 years old and you are an Australia citizen, you have to vote. This is your responsibility. Last Saturday morning early I went to my local polling booth to elect, but I couldn't do it, because they didn't find my name on the list.
That's very disappointing! Did you receive a registered voting card on the mail? I did and they found me very quickly. Maybe you sould tell the electoral office.
